Many people you know may have been diagnosed with a pituitary (or related) disorder. These could include family members, friends, colleagues, or even yourself. There are also an unknown number of people who don’t know they have a pituitary disorder. People with this type of disorder face a lifetime of struggle with the associated physical, social, family, mental, and financial challenges. The challenges of getting diagnosed, treated, and managing a pituitary illness are compounded by a complex and disconnected health-care system.
Our goals include educating health-care professionals, patients, and the public about pituitary disorders. We strive to provide social connections and opportunities that can make a difference in the lives of patients and their caregivers. We need your help to fulfill our goals. Although we have a volunteer Board that provides governance and administration and develops APPS programs and activities, we need volunteers to help us carry out our activities and events. Your financial support helps us pay for our minimal administrative expenses and support our education initiatives and events, allowing us to expand our reach to help you or those you know with a pituitary disorder.
Donations can be made by cheque, Interac e-transfer or through PayPal. Your financial support will help pituitary patients live fulfilling lives.
